Our Culture

Every organization and every church has a culture. At LifeSpring we use the analogy of a Road Trip to communicate our desired culture.  Life is like a road trip, full of adventure, risk and mystery. We're all on a journey that requires travelling together on a road with its detours and ups & downs. Join us for this adventure. To understand more of the culture of our community, take a look at our
Road Trip brochure.

What We Believe

About the Scriptures...
We believe the entire Bible is the written Word of God, the record of God's self-revelation to humankind, inspired by God to be written by human beings. We believe that the Bible is true and trustworthy, the final authority in the lives of Christ-followers and the life of the church.

About God...
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Saviour of the world.

About Humanity...
We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

About Salvation...
We believe that the death of Jesus Christ on a cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin and reconciliation with God. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

About the Christian Life...
We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

About the Church...
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have been restored to a relationship with God by placing their faith in Jesus Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him, loving our neighbours, and by making Jesus Christ known to the world.

For more information about our beliefs, see LifeSpring's formal Statement of Faith.

We all know what's required to fall in love. A pulse. Falling in love is easy. But staying there? That's something else entirely. Finding someone is easier than ever, but staying together seems to get more difficult every day. So, is it possible for two people to fall in love and actually stay there? Absolutely. And yes, you can apply what you learn to all relationships.  Find out how in this 4-part series...             May 14-June 4, 2017

Meet Our Teams

At LifeSpring we believe that life is like a road trip, full of adventure, risk and mystery. We're all on a journey that requires travelling together on a road with its detours and ups and downs.

Our focus is to be a community of faith that loves people one story at a time. We strive to be a safe, accepting place where we can explore questions of faith as we journey together.

Come with us and join the adventure!

from Nueva Frontera, Honduras

COUNTRIES CHALLENGES:

~ Hurricane Mitch killed about 5,600 people and caused $2 billion in damage across the country in 1998

~ Gang membership is estimated in the tens of thousands and threats of violence are used to control poorer districts

~ About 50% of Hondurans are under the age of 19

~The main exports - bananas and coffee - make the economy vulnerable to shifts in commodity prices

Join us as we endeavour to build a relationship with many families in Nueva Frontera.  This isn't just about sending money and it is definitely not about feeling good about ourselves ... this is about building lasting relationships and helping in the restoration of children's futures.
